3 l x-3 l + 4 = 10 find x.

Q: 3 l x-3 l + 4 = 10  We have to find
x.

Solution:

We  subtract 4
from both sides of the equation:

 3 |x-3| = 10-4
=6.

 3|x-3| = 6.

We divide
both sides of 3|x-3| = 6, by 3:

 |x-3| =
2.

If x> 3,  then |x-3| = x-3  = 2
.

So x- 3 = 2, Or x = 5.

If
x< 3, then  |x-3| = 3-x = 2.

So 3-2 = x. Or x=
1.

So x= 1, or x =
5.
