Do you think Jonas's community in The Giver is a utopia or a dystopia which is inhumane and terrifying?

I think that it is a little bit of both.  I think it is a
dystopia for a person who really wants to be fully human.  For a person who simply wants
to be content and have an easy life, it is a utopia.

I say
it's a utopia for people like that because they do not have to make any kinds of
decisions or have much in the way of worries.  They are always told what to do.  They
have their job picked for them.  They do not really have to make decisions on their own
the way we do.

But if you want to be fully human -- to
think and to have emotions, it is a dystopia.  The society tries its best to keep people
from having any true emotions and it keeps them from really having to solve problems for
themselves.  It really tries to keep them almost as children their whole
lives.

Calculate tan(x-y), if sin x=1/2 and sin y=1/3. 0

We'll write the formula of the tangent of difference of 2 angles. tan (x-y) = (tan x - tan y)/(1 + tan x*tan y) ...
