How do Odysseus' men respond when he tells them to hurry back to the ship in The Odyssey?

There are several moments when this happened. If you are
in 9th grade, you are likely reading this out of your literature book. In the section
titled "The Lotus Eaters" the men had just eaten a flower that had drug-like effects.
They had no cares, and no feelings. They had no desire to return home. So, they didn't
really move. They had to be physically taken back to the ship and forced to stay
there.

Just before "The Lotus Eaters" there is a section
that placed Odysseus and his men on Ismarus, the land of the Cicones. These guys fought
with Odysseus men and when Odysseus told them to go back to the ship, they did without a
question.

When you write a question, it helps to know the
section of the text you are referring to and the version of the
story.
