Is there any common theme in Things Fall Apart and To Kill A Mockingbird?

Because both are stories that address a variety of themes,
it is possible certainly to find things that link the two books and the ideas they
discuss.

One theme that is certainly present in both books
is the idea of prejudice, in the case of To Kill A Mockingbird it drives much of the
plot and the way that Scout learns so much about how to understand and appreciate people
that are different than you.  In Things Fall Apart, it plays out more along the lines of
two cultures that are completely unable to find common ground, the influx of white men
and Christianity and their culture leading to the destruction of much of the precious
Ibo culture.
