Write an equation, of the slope intercept form, of the line passing through the points (2 , 3) and (4 , 6).

The equation of the line passing through the points (x1 ,
y1) and (x2 , y2) is given by ( y - y1) = [( y2 - y1)/ ( x2 - x1)] * ( x -
x1)

We have to find the line passing through ( 2 , 3) and (
4, 6). Substituting the values given we get:

y - 3 = [( 6 -
3) / (4 - 2)] * ( x - 2)

=> y - 3 = (3/2)* ( x -
2)

=> y - 3 = (3/2)x -
3

=> y = (3/2)x; slope 3/2, intercept
0.

Calculate tan(x-y), if sin x=1/2 and sin y=1/3. 0

We'll write the formula of the tangent of difference of 2 angles. tan (x-y) = (tan x - tan y)/(1 + tan x*tan y) ...
